Pedigree Adoption Drive

Many agencies take on pro bono accounts that are willing to hand over creative control in exchange for free advertising. Our very own Monique Kelley illustrated this beautiful campaign for the Toronto Humane Society which is just one example of the many ways ad agencies have approached the issue of pet adoption.

This campaign for the Pedigree Adoption Drive is possibly the saddest commercial I’ve ever seen. And while technically not the most creative way at the problem, it makes me want to adopt a dog. Which goes to show that if you write for your audience, and not just other writers, your campaigns will be that much more effective.

Personal note: I’m going to cuddle my dog Copper as soon as I get home.
